Start The Year Off Right at the Boston Celtic Music Fest 2016

2016 Celtic Festival in Boston

Residence Inn Boston Back Bay – Fenway -Celtic Music Festival

What is the Boston Celtic Music Fest 2016?

This year will mark the 10th annual Boston Celtic Music Festival in Boston. On January 8 and 9, 2016 this Boston festival will feature Boston’s best Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton, and other Celtic musicians, singers, and dancers. During the weekend, there will be over 100 performers throughout the city.  The BCMFest aims to provide a friendly and upbeat environment in which people can appreciate Celtic music and dance and support this ever-changing tradition.

How did this all get started?

The BCMFest started 10 years ago when Laura Cortese and Shannon Heaton decided to create a space dedicated to celebrating local traditional talent. It quickly took off as Celtic performers gathered to share ideas and talents with one another and with those who came to the festival. In 2011 the festival became a program of Passim and it is now honored with monthly concerts at Club Passim.

This year the BCMFest will be more exciting than ever and you will not want to miss the fun. The Residence Inn Boston Back Bay – Fenway hopes that everyone who attends has an amazing time and we hope to see you soon!
