Tons of great teams and individuals are preparing to participate in one of the most important annual events in Boston.
One of the great community events in the Boston area is coming up soon. This October, Making Strides of Boston is open to teams and individuals in order to raise money for the American Cancer Society and breast cancer treatment and research. Participants can choose between either a two- or five-mile walk, and these walks are noncompetitive. The spirit is one of community unity in support of an important goal.

We encourage everyone that can join in the walks to do so and support the fundraising efforts. If joining in is difficult for you, just come out to cheer everyone on! There is a need for volunteers to get involved as well.
The Boston event is part of a larger community of caring. All across the country, more than a million people participate in similar events to make a difference. With your help, groundbreaking breast cancer research moves forward. Important progress is continually being made in education, prevention, treatment and early diagnosis to eliminate this disease.
Fun can be had by joining in with friends, family members and fellow workers on teams. This cause requires harnessing the resources and strength of caring members of our society. You will find participating or watching this great event to be uplifting and heartwarming. Those striding with you may be the ones you are helping.
The Residence Inn Boston Back Bay - Fenway wishes all the participants the best of luck. We thank all the organizers, volunteers and supporters of this great event for all their hard work and participation to make strides in this important cause.
